Chocolate Oats Balls

This recipe is a variation on the Peanut Butter Oats Balls, previously posted. Super easy, healthy recipe with the added chocolate taste is the perfect anytime snack! I find it to not only satisfy my sweet cravings but it is also a great pre- or post-workout snack. Great for children's lunchboxes or after school nibbles.

Get your four ingredients ready; oats, peanut butter, honey (or syrup), and cocoa! In a large bowl, place your oats. Measure out the peanut butter and honey in a measuring jug. Measure out your cocoa so it is ready to just add.
Place the peanut butter and honey mixture in the microwave for 45 to 60 seconds, just to warm it up and make it soft for easy mixing. Stir the peanut butter and honey until it is thoroughly mixed! Then add the cocoa and mix until it has all combined.

Add the chocolate peanut butter mixture to the oats and combine well, it is helpful to do this with your hands. Once it has been mixed, place in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

Once it has rested and cooled down in the fridge, it is ready to be rolled into balls! Store in the fridge and enjoy any time of the day!
