Peanut Butter Oats Balls

This quick and easy healthy snack is so delicious, made with only three simple ingredients and no need to bake! I love having some of these before gym or when I am feeling peckish between meals, it is perfect for your children's lunchboxes or as an after school snack.

Get your oats ready in a medium mixing bowl! Next mix the peanut butter and syrup (or honey) and heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds and then mix. You can use either smooth or crunchy peanut butter, both work great, the crunchy just adds a little extra peanut and crunch. In South Africa honey is quite expensive so I use syrup for this recipe more than I use honey, but either is great!

Simply mix the honey, peanut butter mixture with the oats and combine thoroughly. You might want to get your hands all sticky for this part to make sure all the oats is covered! Let it rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Once the mixture has cooled down it is ready to be rolled into small to medium size balls, makes approximately 30 balls. Store the balls in the fridge, perfect and ready for any time of the day!
